The Mental Health Director, Licensed Psychologist, provides supervision to a small LMHP and Psych Tech team at York County Prison, York, PA.
This is an administrative and clinical role. The Mental Health Director will also review documentation, provide consultation for severe and unusual cases, and supervise the clinical and non-clinical staff. The Mental Health Director provides psychological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. This role includes conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote mental health and well-being. The Psychologist works collaboratively with medical, nursing, and behavioral health staff to support integrated patient care.
